The Story So Far

Little is widely known of the woman who simply refers to herself as 'Jolene'. Supposedly a native of Thavnair who wishes only to spread cheer, the self-proclaimed 'Queen of Fashion' is friendly and warm to most who approach her, a willing ear to the woes of the masses and an open purse to those in need. Such philanthropy would be admired, were it not for an unmistakable air of unease that clings to the Hellsgaurd.Jolene is larger than life. She's a creature of luxury, style and a devout disciple of the arts. She's set out to become a fashion mogul whose clothing fits only the upper echelon of society, but for now, she'll settle of beautifying any adventurer whose willing to be measured for fittings. The Thavnairan artist has recently returned to Ul'dah bringing with her fine fabrics, exotic makeups, glittering gems, heavy sacks of gil, and a blank canvas. She passes her time in the Ul'dahn tavern, the Quicksand seeking out her newest muse. She's known to approach strangers for sketches and portraits in exchange for publicity.To those who only know the woman distantly, it is said that she is an ever flowing fount of generosity and kindness, oft seeking to merely better the existence of those within her grasp. A floaty, rigidly mannered socialite, the Hellsgaurd of foreign origins seeks to claim the Gold Court and hold it under queenly assumption. Particularly skilled at wordplay, double meaning and games of wit and intrigue, the Roegadyn is a force of refinement content to capture all and mold them to her pleasure.Her flair for the melodramatic and the ethereal theatrics of entrancing others knows no bound and yields to no one. She seeks to envelope unwitting adventurers into her glittering web of excess and indulgence, luring them to an unknown fate. The crook of her finger shows she's prepared a contract for any soul who captures her wandering gaze.

· There is currently a very generous bounty to be paid to anyone who brings her a quantity of Viera ears.
· Got power? She seeks powerful individuals to befriend and fully sway to her point of view.
· Inspiration comes in various forms, if your character has a past of cruel and unusual leanings, Jolene is eager to immortalize it upon canvas, or even provide assistance.
· Some may be interested in separating that massive wealth from it's current owner. It can't be all from her fashionable endeavors, can it?
· Her interest in the occult and those who are magically gifted borders that of a manic obsession.
